I am an active learner and data miner with passion. One of my major projects seeks to link RNA variants (e.g., somatic mutations and RNA editing events) to cancer outcome. I established a computational pipeline for RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) data to call variants as well as quantify expression. Another project aims to determine associations between genes, drugs, and diseases in multimodal network, which can benefit precision medicine, drug repurposing, and molecular diagnosis. I am working on comparing and integrating three prediction algorithms (NMF, Graph Diffusion, and Community Detection).
